As a business owner, life coach and compassionate human, I take your privacy seriously. The following Privacy Policy outlines how I handle your data. Please note that I may occasionally update or modify this policy.
By visiting this site, you accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this site.
Personal Data
The term “personal data” means any data that can be used to personally identify you, such as your name, email address, or IP address.
If you contact me, for example via email or phone, I will maintain your resulting personal data for the purpose of processing your request.
If you give me your information on a Form on this site, such as when you provide your name and email address to download a booklet or sign up for a training, this information is processed through MailerLite, a third-party provider, which I use to manage my email marketing subscriber list and send emails to subscribers. MailerLite allows me to analyze newsletter campaigns, such as viewing whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. You have the right to unsubscribe from my email list at any time.
I never will sell, rent, or otherwise pass along your email address or any other personal data without your consent.
You have the right to be forgotten. If you wish for your personal information to be completely removed, simply email me (hello@karabarrcoaching.com), stating the information you wish to be deleted.
When you request that your personal data be removed, I will erase it as soon as possible (usually within one week but occasionally up to one month). Please note, however, that in certain legal circumstances, including those outlined in Article 17(3) of the GDPR, I may not be able to erase some or all of the information you requested. In such cases, you will be informed promptly and given full reasons for that decision.

Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. Some are necessary for a website to work properly, and some are optional, such helping a website owner see additional analytics information about their website visitors.
I do not currently use any tracking or analytics cookies. This means that I do not track your personal data such as your IP address, geographic location, operating system, etc. If I choose to use tracking or analytics cookies in the future, I will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
This site runs on Squarespace, and the only cookies used on this site are those necessary for its functionality and safety, such as cookies that prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF).

Social Media
This website contains links to social media sites, such as Facebook. If you click these links, you will be connected to Facebook’s external website, which will receive information about your visit. I do not receive any of your personal information from Facebook, nor do I receive any information on how Facebook uses your data.

Video Conferencing
To connect with my customers, I often use online conference tools, such as Zoom. If you choose to connect with me on a video conference, your data will be collected and processed by both me and the conference tool. I will have access to data you share, such as your name and the start/end time of your call. The video conferencing company will have access to those details, plus necessary technical details to connect you to the call, such as your IP address, your device type, and the type of connection.

Payments
If you choose to make a purchase, your payment data will be processed by the payment service provider. Most frequently, I use Wave as my payment service provider, but I sometimes use other payment service providers, such as PayPal, at the request of my customers.
